It's Time to Launch Your Business in Dover

Submit your business plan soon for a chance to win $40,000 to make your dream a reality in Dover! One lucky winner will walk away with the money they need to help get their business off the ground.

This Just In!

In addition to the $40,000 from the Town of Dover, our good friends at our local radio station 100.7 The Peak have agreed to provide the winner of the competition with $5,000 in radio advertisements to help with spreading the word about your amazing new business!

Special consideration is given to businesses providing new services/goods to our community and current Dover business mix. Applicants moving into the second round will receive a mentor and copy of 'LivePlan' to facilitate the completion of the formal business plan. A copy of the Competition Scoring Rubric can be found below.

An open public brainstorming session will be held (date and time TBD) to discuss what types of businesses people would most like to see started in the Town of Dover. At the previous meeting, useful information for potential business owners came out of the event as well. See below for the responses from the session to help in completing your application.
